The majority of my career has been dedicated to urban education. I started out as a first grade bilingual teacher in Jersey City over 24 years ago. Soon thereafter, I moved on to become a Spanish teacher in one of the first middle schools in the district. Teaching always brought me great joy and provided me with the ability to make a difference in the lives of my students.
My current position as the Principal of Alexander D. Sullivan School is both challenging and rewarding. It affords me the opportunity to work closely with teachers, parents and students while making an impact on a greater scale within my community. Every day a new adventure awaits and I am always ready to seize the day.
